The fastpaced world of the web constantly presents new
technologies and business opportunities. This demands a
responsive design process that can rapidly adapt to changing
circumstances. Often it is necessary to abandon rigid
concepts and methodologies while embracing new viewpoints
and forms of cooperation. One solution is the "interpersonal"
model that we explore in this presentation and article. We compare
traditional models for collaborative work with the interpersonal
model, in which the interdisciplinary team is in almost
continuous contact from the inception of the project to the end.
Content, design and technology are developed simultaneously.
Problems are solved in an informal, creative and
improvisational way. In our experience, this collaborative
design process often leads to more ambitious solutions and
better integrated products.
